The Loud Cry of “Babylon is fallen” refers to the time when the Sunday law was made, but in 1844 this cry did not refer to that same event.

They had chosen a ruler who chained them to his car as captive… Satanic agencies were incorporated with men. The bodies of human beings, made for the dwelling place of God, had become the habitation of demons. The senses, the nerves, the passions, the organs of men, were worked by supernatural agencies in the indulgence of the vilest lust. The very stamp of demons was impressed upon the countenances of men. Human faces reflected the expression of the legions of evil with which they were possessed. {DA 36.3}

- wine and fornication. fornication is when the Sabbath will be changed by the pope, while wine refers to false doctrines. this all shows that everything got so bad that the earthly leaders will hate everyone who does not comply to keeping the sabbath they made.

But the man of sin, exalting himself above God, sitting in the temple of God, and showing himself to be God, thought to change times and laws. This power, thinking to prove that it was not only equal to God, but above God, changed the rest day, placing the first day of the week where the seventh should be. And the Protestant world has taken this child of the papacy to be regarded as sacred. In the Word of God this is called her fornication.  {7BC 979.7}

The wine of Babylon is the exalting of the false and spurious sabbath above the Sabbath which the Lord Jehovah hath blessed and sanctified for the use of man, also [it is] the immortality of the soul. These kindred heresies, and the rejection of the truth, convert the church into Babylon. Kings, merchants, rulers, and religious teachers are all in corrupt harmony.  {2SM 68.2}

The fallen denominational churches are Babylon. Babylon has been fostering poisonous doctrines, the wine of error. This wine of error is made up of false doctrines, such as the natural immortality of the soul, the eternal torment of the wicked, the denial of the pre-existence of Christ prior to His birth in Bethlehem, and advocating and exalting the first day of the week above God’s holy and sanctified day. These and kindred errors are presented to the world by the various churches, and thus the Scriptures are fulfilled that say, ‘For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.’ It is a wrath which is created by false doctrines, and when kings and presidents drink this wine of the wrath of her fornication, they are stirred with anger against those who will not come into harmony with the false and satanic heresies which exalt the false sabbath, and lead men to trample underfoot God’s memorial.  {TM 61.3}

This quote tells me that when the 1^st Angles Message was rejected by the churches, the 2^nd was given in the summer of 1844 and many more people withdrew from the church.

The spirit of world conforming and indifference to the testing truths for our time exists and has been gaining ground in churches of the Protestant faith in all the countries of Christendom; and these churches are included in the solemn and terrible denunciation of the second angel. Why was the second angel’s message given?

The second angel’s message was given because the people in 1844 had rejected the first angel’s message. If they had not rejected the first message, there would have been no purpose to giving the second message.

Here in these two quotes we can see why the message was given. First of all it was given “leading the believers to seek a living experience for themselves” if they do not do this “they have so darkened their understanding that they can see no light in the third angel’s message.” So this is a way of seeing who accepted the message.

In every part of the land, light was given upon the second angel’s message, and the cry melted the hearts of thousands. It went from city to city, and from village to village, until the waiting people of God were fully aroused. In many churches the message was not permitted to be given, and a large company who had the living testimony left these fallen churches. A mighty work was accomplished by the midnight cry. The message was heart-searching, leading the believers to seek a living experience for themselves. They knew that they could not lean upon one another. {EW 238.3}

What were the consequences to the churches when they rejected the first angel’s message?  [A how problem]

Those who rejected the first message could not be benefited by the second; neither were they benefited by the midnight cry, which was to prepare them to enter with Jesus by faith into the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary. And by rejecting the two former messages, they have so darkened their understanding that they can see no light in the third angel’s message, which shows the way into the most holy place. I saw that as the Jews crucified Jesus, so the nominal churches had crucified these messages, and therefore they have no knowledge of the way into the most holy, and they cannot be benefited by the intercession of Jesus there. Like the Jews, who offered their useless sacrifices, they offer up their useless prayers to the apartment which Jesus has left; and Satan, pleased with the deception, assumes a religious character, and leads the minds of these professed Christians to himself, working with his power, his signs and lying wonders, to fasten them in his snare. Some he deceives in one way, and some in another. He has different delusions prepared to affect different minds. Some look with horror upon one deception, while they readily receive another. Satan deceives some with Spiritualism. He also comes as an angel of light and spreads his influence over the land by means of false reformations. The churches are elated, and consider that God is working marvelously for them, when it is the work of another spirit.”   {EW 260.1}

Rev. 6:1, 2 It is talking about the purity of the church and it’s power in the first century.

Rev. 6:3, 4 There was corruption creeping up in the church and persecution was a result of that corruption.

Rev. 6:5, 6 Because of them turning away form the truth it resulted in spiritual darkness.

4) The Pale Horse:

Rev. 6: 7, 8 The pale horse was allowed to kill using famine and other methods. There was a time of deadly persecution on God’s people until the reformation started.

5) Souls Under The Alter:

Rev. 6:9-11 Is talking about martyrs that were waiting a little longer for the resurrection and at the resurrection they will receive white robes.

6) Great Earthquake:

Rev. 6: 12-17 The Lisbon earthquake of Nov. 1, 1755, affected an area that covered over four million miles. There were nearly 100,000 that were killed.

The dark day and moon turned to blood happened on May 19, 1780.

The stars fell from heaven on Nov. 13, 1833.

Then the heavens rolling back as a scroll will happen at the second coming of Christ.

7) Silence In Heaven For Half An Hour:

And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. Rev. 8:1

When Jesus will come the second time for us with all the angles there will be silence in heaven for nobody will be there. Matt. 25:31 and Rev. 5:11-13

In Revelation we see that there is a book and it is sealed, and the part that was sealed was related to the last days. This book was sealed until the 1798 and it was unsealed at the beginning of the judgment.

The time for the setting is in the portion of the redemption that covers the last days this is from 1798 onward to the second coming of Christ, buy mostly during the advent movement from 1840-1844. The place for the setting is the most holy place. Here the God is on the throne and Jesus because he died for us is able to take this the book and opens it, he gets it from the father. Because this is the book of redemption Jesus is the one who can open it because He is part of the plan of redemption. The heart is within this book and heart is the same as character.

The book that was sealed was not the book of Revelation, but that portion of Daniel which related to the last days.  {17MR 6.3}Here prophecy could not be proclaimed or fulfilled. But ever since 1798 the book of Daniel has been opened. Now the prophecy is fulfilled the three angles messages can be proclaimed. This is the part of the plan comes from the Advent Movement to the second coming. It covers the judgment, the marriage, and the second coming. This book holds the accounts of people’s lives that will be opened at the judgment.

The book of the heart is written on the backside and within. Written within means in the heart and written on the backside refers to the time, not the place. This means that there will people who will experience the truths of the messages at different times the other people. We represent the people on the backside because we did not go through the time when the message was proclaimed and we have only heard about them.

            The door to the most holy place had to be opened at the right time… it was opened in 1844. This was during the time of the Advent Movement. They thought that Jesus was coming, but really it was the beginning of the judgment. The prophecies are to be nearly fulfilled and because we are on the backside we need to have an experience of following the message because we were not there to see it given. So therefore will you choose to accept the message and follow God for yourself because you can not take it from someone else’ experience and say you have an experience for yourself. What will you choose?
